Our toilet hasn’t been flushing very well so we lifted up the` manhole cover in the garden and it’s blocked up with nasty stuff! Will call Dyno Rod or similar but was wondering how much I should expect to pay. Don’t want to be ripped off. I’m in the West London area

i have an 03 reg renault clio and recently i’ve heard rain water trapped in the roof of my car. its not leaking through to the headliner but its just trapped there!! anyone got any suggestion of how to unblock the drainage holes?

i know there is usually 4 drains, one on each corner, but where are the exit holes?

There’s a drain in the patio outside my property that drains away rainwater from the two flats above and also my patio area.

This morning I got up and noticed there’s a large pool of water (2 or more inches deep) around it, and the water’s not going down.

There were some leaves around it, but I moved those and it still won’t drain, so there must be a blockage further down in the drain.

My dad recommended buying a device with a handle on top that screws a flexible wire into the drain to break up the blockage, whereas someone in work told me to buy some drain rods and use those.

Can anyone tell me which is the best for this type of job, and where I can get them from.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I want to put my washer and dryer in the outside store – there’s mains water in there but it’s not tapped, there’s no sign of drainage either – any advice on what’s needed?

I have noticed that the drain in my back garden in over flowing whenever the washing machine or when the bath has been emptied, also when I flush the toilet water bubbles out of the drainer in the shower.

Does this sound like a big problem to fix?? how much would I expect to pay at the most to unblock the problem???

There’s rice and some other stuff stuck in the u-bend of my kitchen drain. How do i unblock it with cheap stuff? I tried opening it but it was a mess. There’s two sinks and the u-bend is under the right sink. I dont have money to get a plumber or a plunge or anything else. Waiting for pay-day lol. Help plz! Thankoo

I have a two storey mid-terraced house with a single storey conservatory style extension all the way along the back. I need to clear the gutter and unblock the drain pipe on the main house above the extension. I can’t get a ladder up there and can only stand on the conservatory roof with supports on the inside and boards on top. Looking for an easier answer. There is a small gap at the side of the extension that I can get in to reach the bottom of the drain pipe though its not wide enough to take a ladder to reach the top.

Our condo board is considering allowing us to put in the walk, but one owner says it will add to our drainage (flooding) problems. Walk will replace portions of grass. (We’re in Fla. where ground is quite permeable)Will the drainage be that much worse? Would like to show that the water will permeate the walk almost as well as the grass. Thanks.

This product seems so incredibly potentially dangerous and risky to use.
