How do you unblock a sink drain that has small stones causing the problem.is there anything that will work?


   


i was washing gravel for my aquarium and alot of them went down the sink……….how do i unclog then?!

    small stones? how do you know this for a fact the only thing that will break them loose is a snake you can rent them at most home improvement stores

    you will have to pull the P-trap off and clean it out

    get a wrench or channel locks and undo the two compression nuts on the u’ shaped trap under the sink

    there will be two rubber or plastic o-rings that the compression nuts squeeze together to form a water tight seal

    after you have cleaned/washed the trap out, reassemble

    if it leaks, try slightly tightening the nuts, if it still leaks you may have to buy new 1 1/4 compression gaskets for a sink drain at your local home improvement store
