Go underneath it and remove the ‘trap’. That’s the U-shaped part. Normally that’s where the clog will be. Have a bucket under it because some water will come out.

Unscrew the waste pipe TRAP (fitted below the basin) and clear blockage – replace trap!

use a power plunger. it’s a tube that uses forced air to push the clog out.

buy a plunger from DIY shop good for all sink/bath plugs
    that are blocked.

Put a basin or container of some description under the sink and remove the U bend underneath. Clean it out well using a bottle washer and replace the U bend again, Make sure you have no leaks afterward.

At Lowes they sell a flexibile plastic tool that has barbs on it for about $2,that will grab and pull out whatever is clogging the trap this way you don’t have to worry about making aleak when you put the trap back together or you won’t need any other tools.

    1. If you can, un-screw the trap and clean it.

2.Try a drain un-blocker from a hardware store or supermarket like Mr. Muscle Foamer.

3.You could try clearing it with a plunger. Block off the overflow, fill the basin with water… and plunge like mad!

    4. If all else fails and you don’t want to call a plumber, try caustic soda or ‘Knock Out’ but BEWARE… they are lethal. wear gloves, goggles and old clothes and whatever you do don’t spill it on your skin.

    Good luck!

Try soda crystals and boiling water leave for about 10 mins or longer and then pour boiling water down the plug hole this works far better than bleach also you may want to invest in a plug hole filter which traps hairs etc and prevents blockages they are quite cheap to buy

A plunger is the answer or remove the waste drain plug and clean out, or simply fill the sink with the hottest water you can place your hand in, place your hand over the sink hole and press up and down with a suck tion movement

The best think for that is;half cup of baking powder, half a cup of salt, then add 3/4 of white vinegar then pour a hot kettle of water over it,mind you the smell is not very pleasant but will shift that c**p out, hope it works well.

If bottle trap fitted, remove by turning trap anti clockwise and wash out and replace.
If U-Bend fitted, loosen off both ends, remove ,wash out and replace.
